The inclined cut and notch in the upper part of the holder allow the winch handle to be stowed against the cockpit.

 Location onboard relative to an object: Pair of clockwise and counter-clockwise winch handle holders:

If there is an object (rope bag, bulkhead, door …) next to the winch handle holder. Choose the RMWRHRA which can store the winch handle in the opposite direction of the object.

 Location on the boat relative to the winch: Pair of clockwise and counter-clockwise winch handle holders

If there is no object near the winch handle holder, the choice is made with respect to the location of the winch.

Choose the RMWRA if the winch handle is stored to the right of the winch.

Choose the RMWRH if the winch handle is stored to the left of the winch.
