Tufftalk M over-the-head earmuff long-range, full-duplex intercom communication headset with Bluetooth and +Mesh technology.

These headsets are designed for handsfree, full-duplex headset-to-headset communication in noisy environments such as worksites, industrial plants, shipyards, engine rooms, heavy-equipment operation, airboats, jet boats, theaters, concerts, etc.

Communication between headsets uses Sena's Mesh 2.0 technology, which allows a near limitless number of headsets to communicate together as a group for situational awareness, safety, or other coordinated group communication. 

What is Mesh?

Mesh is a networked group of radio transceivers.  This allows the various Mesh devices to communicate with each other through an optimized pathway, much like the internet uses routers to send messages through a network of connected devices.  The +Mesh utilized in the Tufftalk M headsets optimizes the digital voice communication such that it can find the best path between a group of headsets for not only the maximum range, but also the clearest signal quality.

There are no wires, base stations, or push-to-talk buttons with the Tufftalk heas.  The +Mesh transceiver is built right into the headset.  Just turn it on and immediately begin communicating with other Tufftalk M's, or other +Mesh headsets within range.   Useable maximum range is 1.1km, (0.7 miles).  There are 2 modes within Mesh:  Open Mesh, and Group Mesh.  With Open Mesh a virtually-unlimited number of users can connect with each other in a group session.  For more private conversations between specific headsets Group Mesh mode is used, and can support up to 24 users.

The Tufftalk M headset also provides hearing protection while still letting you easily communicate in loud, busy worksites. The over-the-head earmuffs have a noise reduction rating of  26dB.  It is designed with safety and comfort in mind as a hands-free intercom system  with a clever three-button layout making it easy use.

The integrated lithium battery is easily and quickly charge using the included USB charging/data cable.

The Tufftalk M headset can also connect to other Bluetooth devices, such as your smartphone.  The downloadable Sena Smartphone app, allows you to connect to you smartphone and use the simple graphical interface to change settings such as FM radio presets, speed dial, adjust frequencies, etc.
